Third generation, so a combination of R/S/E and FR/LG style. The two styles are so similar that the average person will never be able to tell the difference, so you can use either as base.

I can try, but i cant make scratch trainers to an extent, so they will be superheavy edits. I'll do AJ.

Like I said, the differences are so slight that even YOU can't tell them apart. No, there's a HUGE difference between the overworld NPC sprites. The R/S/E NPCs look fat and dumb.

How do they look fat and dumb? You never explained that to me. The lass and prof. birch's overworld sprites are examples of how terribly shaped R/S/E npc sprites are.

The lass is just a different style, that's all. Prof. Birch is a big and bulky guy (according to the Animé, which you refuse to watch) and his lab coat makes him look even wider. I'd say that's a pretty accurate representation.
