I don't even know what an alpha channel is. All I know is this colour goes there and that colour goes here, and voila a sprite is done!

Well I don't think it's necessary to recolor and "force" the sprites to fit in the game. They are already good enough and all I want to know is whether you have the permission of the one who created those sprites(If so, then you're done). What are you talking about? They're not good enough to fit the game's other sprites, or to even be consistent with each other (especially with the sizes and colors)! In fact, if we put these sprites into the game as they are right now, they will stand out and look like we forced them into the game. If you open up the picture with MS Paint, it's blatantly obvious that the alpha channel is all messed up. If you need further proof, answer me this: why is Cissy only 59 pixels tall when the Cerulean Sisters sprite almost 80x80? They should ALL be a maximum of 64x64 pixels in size (like the Pokémon), with the only discrepancies being due to height and/or body shape. Well Moose I know you have a good point. However, it seems to me that you haven't learned a lesson on how to explain your idea to people yet. In other words, you still haven't understood that your attitude is hurting the team. Look what Jonny replied after your post? Did you even think that you might offend some people because of your comments?

The alpha channel is what you use for the transparency effect. In fact, if you just turn off the transparency, you can instantly see the hidden layer that's being blocked. Yes, this is the one way you can have a double layer PNG with a layer completely blocked.

Minor updates like adding a sprite here and there must be posted in the staff forum. Only major updates like releases and design changes go on the game thread on PokéCommunity.
Also, why is your sprite D/P style? Overworld character sprites should ALL be 3rd generation (R/S/E and FR/LG) style. That's why we can't accept that sprite.

Hey Moose, Hall of Famer is right. You can't be so demanding and yes, I dare to say Jerky to your team members. They are trying to help out, spending their free time to contribute to the project. If you slap them upside the head, you're just going to frustrate and drive them away. And then you'll be doing all of the work by yourself.
